Sindh Government Launches ‘Sindh Job Portal’ to Create Online Employment Opportunities for Youth

Karachi: In a major step to promote digital employment, the Sindh government has launched the **“Sindh Job Portal”**, providing new online job opportunities for unemployed youth across the province.
The inauguration ceremony was held in Karachi, where Sindh Chief Minister **Murad Ali Shah** officially launched the portal. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the provincial government is rapidly moving toward digitalization in all sectors, and the Sindh Job Portal marks a major milestone in that direction.
Murad Ali Shah stated that the portal is specifically designed for **skilled and educated youth** seeking online employment. The system will ensure **merit-based recruitment**, with the entire process being completed digitally.
He further announced that the **Institute of Business Administration (IBA)** has been selected to test and monitor the portal’s functionality. The government will **bear the cost** of the first test attempt for each candidate, while those who fail will be allowed to retake the test in subsequent sessions, which will be held **every month** to avoid long waiting periods.
Explaining the procedure, the Chief Minister said that applicants can click on any listed job to receive a **notification message**. Once the process is complete, the candidate will be issued an **interview letter** online.
He also detailed the **testing and interview system**, stating that if an exam carries 100 marks, 50 will be for the test itself. Candidates scoring **80% or above** will receive 40 out of 50 marks, while **30 marks** are reserved for the interview stage.
Murad Ali Shah expressed confidence that the **Sindh Job Portal** will open new doors of employment for the youth, ensuring **transparent and merit-based recruitment** across the province.
