Over 140,000 Students Sit for Nationwide MDCAT Exams Amid Paper Leak Rumors

ISLAMABAD:The **Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT)** is being held today across Pakistan, with more than **140,000 students** appearing for the highly competitive examination.

Following widespread social media reports claiming that the MDCAT paper had been leaked, **CEO of Sindh Testing Service, Professor Asif Ahmed Sheikh**, clarified that the papers circulating online are **fake**. He confirmed that an investigation was conducted and all the leaked versions were found to be incorrect.

Professor Sheikh added that students who have not yet received their **juvenile cards** should not worry — they can bring their **original matriculation or intermediate mark sheets** for identification purposes.

A total of **32 test centers** have been set up across the country and **one in Saudi Arabia** to facilitate overseas Pakistani students.

In **Karachi**, the test is being conducted at **Dow University** and **NED University**, where heavy traffic has been reported on University Road due to the large number of candidates. Traffic police officers have been deployed to maintain flow and ensure order.

Out of the total candidates, only **22,000 successful students** will secure admission to **MBBS and BDS programs** across Pakistan.
