Pakistan Tells Taliban Government to Focus on Its Own Affairs, Not Interfere in Internal Matters

Islamabad: Pakistan has expressed strong reservations over recent remarks made by a **spokesperson of the Taliban government**, advising Kabul to focus on its **own domestic issues** rather than commenting on Pakistan’s internal matters.
In a statement, the **Foreign Office spokesperson** said that, in line with **international diplomatic norms**, all countries must adhere to the principle of **non-interference** in each other’s internal affairs.
“Pakistan does not require any external advice or interference regarding its internal matters,” the spokesperson asserted.
He urged the Taliban authorities to **concentrate on Afghanistan’s internal challenges** and **avoid making statements** about Pakistan’s domestic issues.
Furthermore, the spokesperson said Pakistan expects the Taliban government to **honor its commitments** made to the **international community** and under the **Doha Agreement**.
He stressed that the Taliban must ensure **Afghan soil is not used for terrorism** against any country and should **focus on establishing an inclusive and representative government** instead of engaging in **baseless propaganda**.
