Ronaldo Gesture Video Shared by PCB Chief Goes Viral, Sparks Indian Outrage

Islamabad: After Pakistani players, now **PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi’s viral post** has stirred controversy in India during the ongoing **Asia Cup 2025**.
The tension began when Pakistani pacer **Haris Rauf** responded to Indian fans’ taunts during the Pak-India Super Four clash with a hand gesture mimicking a fighter jet crash, which drew heavy criticism from Indian media. Following the incident, the **BCCI even lodged a complaint with the ICC** against Pakistani players.

Amid the uproar, Mohsin Naqvi further fueled the debate by sharing a video of Portuguese football superstar **Cristiano Ronaldo** on X (formerly Twitter). The clip shows Ronaldo making a **plane-crashing gesture**, strikingly similar to Haris Rauf’s response to Indian fans. Although Naqvi posted the video without a caption, it quickly went viral, **garnering thousands of views and likes within hours**.
Earlier, Pakistani spinner **Sufiyan Muqeem** had also shared the same Ronaldo video on his Instagram story with the caption: *“Who told him (Ronaldo)?”* — adding to the banter.
The viral clip has once again left Indian fans and media fuming, while many in Pakistan saw it as lighthearted sporting banter.
