WASHINGTON/NEW YORK: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to meet US President Donald Trump today in Washington for a one-on-one discussion focusing on global and regional issues. Field Marshal Asim Munir is also likely to attend the meeting.

The upcoming Washington meeting follows interactions between the two leaders during a session with leaders of Islamic countries in New York.
