Nine Bugti Tribesmen Abducted by Armed Men in Balochistan’s Sui

Sui – At least nine members of the Bugti tribe were abducted by armed assailants in the **Gothan area of Sui tehsil, Dera Bugti district**, according to Levies officials.

Reports published in *Dawn* stated that a group of gunmen held several people at gunpoint before taking nine individuals to an undisclosed location.

Authorities confirmed that the abducted men belong to the **Hajwani sub-clan** of the Bugti tribe and worked as shepherds. The incident has triggered panic and fear in the area.

Following the abduction, Levies and other security personnel swiftly reached the site, cordoning off the area and launching a search operation to ensure the safe recovery of all nine hostages.
