FIA Officer Sarfaraz Chaudhry Suspended After Action Against YouTuber Ducky Bhai

LAHORE/ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – FIA officer Sarfaraz Chaudhry, who spearheaded action against popular YouTuber Ducky Bhai in the gambling promotion case, has been suspended from his post, according to journalist and vlogger Mansoor Ali Khan.
Sarfaraz Chaudhry, Additional Director at NCCIA, had been actively investigating the promotion of online gambling by social media influencers. He had reportedly traced millions of rupees linked to Ducky Bhai and was preparing to issue notices to TikTok stars Jannat Mirza and Mathira. Notices had already been served to Nadeem Nani Wala, Rajab Butt, and Iqra Kanwal.
Mansoor Ali Khan claimed in his vlog that pressure may have mounted due to ongoing cases against TikTokers. Another theory suggests that Chaudhry faced repercussions for accepting complaints from journalists against Lahore police officers, which had sparked tensions between media representatives and Punjab police.
After his suspension, Sarfaraz Chaudhry handed over his charge in Lahore and was directed to report to Islamabad. Concerns are being raised that the crackdown on gambling promotion through social media could now lose momentum, despite evidence against other influencers allegedly involved.
