MONTREAL: A new report has surfaced claiming that former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and pop star Katy Perry are still in contact and share a personal connection.

According to *Us Weekly*, multiple sources confirmed that the two have remained in touch since having dinner together in late July. While they are said to be interested in each other, both have chosen to keep the relationship private.

The report added that their connection is not considered “serious” at this stage, as Katy Perry is busy with her *Lifetime* tour while Trudeau also has his own commitments. However, the two are reportedly planning to meet again in the coming weeks when Perry takes a short break from her tour—an arrangement initiated by Trudeau.

On July 28, the pair were spotted walking in Montreal’s Mount Royal Park with Perry’s dog, followed by a dinner at a popular restaurant later that evening.
