COAS Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Visits Turbat to Review Security and Development Efforts

Turbat, Balochistan:Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Nishan-e-Imtiaz (Military), Hilal-e-Jurat, visited Turbat, Balochistan, to assess the current security situation, inspect ongoing development projects, and strengthen civil-military cooperation for the stability and prosperity of the province.
The visit was marked by a comprehensive briefing to the Army Chief on the prevailing security environment, successful operations against “Fitna-e-Hind,” ongoing development initiatives, and socio-economic uplift efforts in South Balochistan.
Balochistan Chief Minister, Chief Secretary, and other senior officials were also present during the visit. In his interaction with the provincial leadership and civil administration, COAS emphasized the need for good governance, infrastructure development, and community-driven initiatives to address public grievances and accelerate progress in the region.
Reaffirming the Pakistan Army’s commitment, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir stated that the military stands shoulder to shoulder with the people of Balochistan and will continue to provide full support to ensure peace, prosperity, and sustainable development.
While addressing the troops, COAS praised their high morale, operational readiness, and unwavering dedication to defending national sovereignty. He lauded their vital role in maintaining peace and stability in the region despite challenging conditions.
