Successful Operations Against Terrorists in Balochistan Commendable: Shahid Rind

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister’s Adviser on Information and Political Affairs Shahid Rind has praised the successful operations against terrorists in the province, calling them a significant achievement in the fight against terrorism.

In a statement, Shahid Rind said the elimination of 37 terrorists in Mastung, Mach, Khuzdar and Panjgur was an important success. He commended the professional capabilities and effective strategy of the security forces in carrying out the operations.

He said the sacrifices rendered by the security forces in the war against terrorism were a source of pride for the entire nation. Successful operations against terrorist networks had delivered an effective response to elements seeking to undermine peace in Balochistan.

Shahid Rind said conspiracies aimed at disturbing peace and stability in Balochistan would not be allowed to succeed. The provincial government would continue to extend full cooperation to security institutions for the complete elimination of terrorism.

He said terrorist elements would not be allowed to sabotage the peace, development and prosperity of the people. The people of Balochistan desired peace, progress and prosperity, and terrorism could not weaken their resolve.

The adviser further said counter-terrorism operations would continue until terrorism was completely eradicated from the province.
