Sonakshi Sinha Opens Up About Life After Marriage to Zaheer Iqbal
Bollywood actress talks about her YouTube journey, paparazzi attention, and how her husband influenced her life

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has candidly spoken about her new chapter as a content creator on YouTube, her relationship with husband Zaheer Iqbal, and the positive changes he has brought into her life.
In a recent interview, Sonakshi shared how, after nearly 15 years in the film industry, she realized that true success lies in being authentic. “Many people portray a version of themselves that isn’t real. I want to show myself as I truly am—it takes less energy to just be yourself,” she said.
Sonakshi launched her YouTube channel to connect with her fans more directly and honestly. She explained that creating long-form videos was initially a new experience, but the platform gave her the freedom to express herself without filters. “When you do something that doesn’t feel like pressure or hard work, it becomes fun,” she said.
Her husband, actor Zaheer Iqbal, frequently appears in her videos and has had a noticeable influence on her personality—especially when it comes to dealing with paparazzi. “I never liked getting clicked during my personal time, but Zaheer’s cheerful nature has made me more warm and friendly. Instead of complaining, he just poses and smiles—it’s contagious,” Sonakshi admitted.
She praised Zaheer for his optimistic personality, saying he has made her softer and more understanding towards media attention.
Speaking about her professional life, Sonakshi recently starred in the film *Nikita Roy*, directed by her brother Kussh Sinha. Addressing the dynamics of working with family, she said, “Working with a sibling doesn’t blur professional lines. On set, I was just an actor, and he was the director. We treated each other accordingly.”
Sonakshi and Zaheer, now considered one of the paparazzi’s favorite couples, continue to enjoy their life both on and off screen, with fans eagerly following their journey.
