Govinda’s Wife Sunita Ahuja Sparks Buzz with Cryptic Remarks About Actor’s Shooting Incident

Islamabad: Bollywood actor Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, has stirred media attention after making cryptic remarks about the actor’s past shooting incident during the premiere of the reality show Lock Upp: Sach Ya Saza.
During the show, hosts Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh referred to an old newspaper quote in which Sunita had said, “I want a son like Govinda, not a husband.” Responding to the remark, Sunita said that love requires a person to endure many things.
She added that Govinda, affectionately known as “Chi Chi,” had been linked with several romantic affairs during his career, saying, “Such things happen in the film industry among heroes and heroines.” She explained that after standing by him for so many years, she believes she would want a son with qualities similar to his.
Commenting on the incident in which Govinda suffered a gunshot injury, Sunita made a cryptic statement, saying, “Chi Chi, if you’re listening, a bullet hits the knee only when another woman enters someone’s life.”
She further remarked, “I’m not lying, I’m telling the truth. When the incident happened, I wasn’t in Mumbai. Otherwise, many people said that I was the one who shot him. By the way, my aim never misses.”
Her comments were widely interpreted as humorous and sarcastic, though she did not make any direct allegation or clarify whether her remarks were meant literally or figuratively.
Govinda and Sunita Ahuja were married in 1987 and kept their marriage private for two years. The couple has two children, Tina Ahuja and Yashvardhan Ahuja.
