NAB Reports Recovery of Over 547 Billion PKR in First Half of the Year

Islamabad:The **National Accountability Bureau (NAB)** has **released its performance report** for the first half of the year, highlighting the bureau’s significant achievements in combating corruption and recovering embezzled funds.
According to the report, **NAB** has successfully recovered a total of **547.31 billion Pakistani rupees** through various actions and initiatives during the first six months of this year. The spokesperson for **NAB** stated that **532.33 billion rupees** worth of assets have been handed over to **federal and provincial departments** as well as other relevant institutions.
In addition, the report also mentioned that in **fraud cases**, **12,611 victims** have been compensated, with the looted amounts returned to them. Furthermore, the **NAB Sukkur** region successfully **retrieved 25 billion rupees worth of land** from the **National Highway Authority**.
These recoveries demonstrate the ongoing efforts of **NAB** in addressing corruption and ensuring the return of misappropriated resources to the state.
