Major Adnan Aslam Awarded Sitara-e-Basalat for Bravery After Martyrdom

Islamabad: Major Adnan Aslam has been posthumously awarded the prestigious Sitara-e-Basalat in recognition of his extraordinary bravery and sacrifice.
The Sitara-e-Basalat is a high military honor conferred by the Pakistan Armed Forces for acts of courage, valor, and devotion to duty. Major Adnan Aslam, a commando of the Special Services Group, embraced martyrdom after sustaining critical injuries during an operation against militants.
According to official details, he was wounded on September 2, 2025, during a counterterrorism operation in Bannu. He was later shifted to Combined Military Hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Major Adnan’s courage and unwavering commitment to defending the country have left a lasting impact on his fellow soldiers and the nation. His sacrifice is being remembered as a symbol of dedication and heroism in the line of duty.
