Punjab Traffic Police Announces Driving License Fees and Issuance Details

Islamabad (Qudrat Roznama): The Punjab Traffic Police has released details regarding fees for three-year driving licenses.

Officials reported that over 124,000 driving licenses were issued in January 2026. More than 2,500 citizens applied for replacement of lost licenses, while over 4,500 international driving permits were also issued.

DIG Traffic Punjab, Muhammad Waqas Nazir, stated that the e-driving license holds the same legal validity as a physical card, allowing citizens to fully benefit from this facility.

He further added that the total fee for a one-year license is PKR 1,980, while a three-year license costs PKR 4,680. Citizens can easily obtain their e-driving licenses using this system.
