Aima Baig Faces Backlash for Performing K-pop Song at Canadian Concert

Toronto, Canada: Pakistani singer Aima Baig is facing criticism on social media after a recent concert performance in Canada, where she delivered an energetic show featuring her popular songs. While fans at the venue appeared to enjoy her performance, a particular segment involving a K-pop song has sparked online backlash.
During the concert, Aima Baig performed a song by South Korean singer Jennie and incorporated Korean-style choreography into her routine. The performance went viral on social media, drawing a wave of criticism from users who called her dance style “unnatural” and “unnecessary.”
Some critics accused Aima of trying too hard to imitate foreign artists, while others labeled her dance moves as inappropriate and out of place. Memes and sarcastic commentary began circulating online shortly after the performance clip was shared.
As of now, Aima Baig has not responded publicly to the criticism.
It is worth mentioning that Aima recently tied the knot with her close friend Zain Ahmed at a private ceremony in Canada. Previously, she was engaged to actor Shahbaz Shigri, but the couple later announced their breakup via social media.
