CM Balochistan Expresses Solidarity with Kashmiris on Youm-e-Istehsal

Quetta:Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has expressed unwavering solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) on the occasion of **Youm-e-Istehsal** (Day of Exploitation), marking the fifth anniversary of India’s unilateral and illegal abrogation of Article 370.

In a message shared on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), CM Bugti said that **August 5, 2019**, stands as the darkest day in the history of Kashmir, when the Indian government revoked the region’s special constitutional status, violating the basic rights of the Kashmiri people.

He strongly condemned the move by the Modi-led government, calling it a **blatant violation of UN resolutions** and an open breach of international human rights.

“The lockdown in Kashmir, restrictions on freedom of expression, and the brutal oppression of innocent civilians should shake the conscience of the global community,” the chief minister said.

CM Bugti emphasized that the **people of Balochistan stand shoulder to shoulder** with their Kashmiri brothers and sisters in their struggle for the right to self-determination. He added that across Balochistan, people are observing the day with deep empathy and solidarity for the oppressed people of Kashmir.

He reaffirmed that **Pakistan will continue to extend political, diplomatic, and moral support** to the Kashmiri cause at every forum and will never leave the Kashmiris alone in their fight for justice.

“The day is not far when the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people will bear fruit, and they will see the dawn of freedom,” he added, reiterating that **Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan** and the Pakistani nation will always stand by the Kashmiri people at all costs.
