**Gwadar (Daily Qudrat Quetta)** – As part of the **nationwide Maritime Week celebrations**, a special event was held at **Gwadar Port**, organized under the directives of the **Ministry of Maritime Affairs** and led by **Gwadar Port Chairman Noor-ul-Haq Baloch**. The event was attended by **students and teachers from Government Girls Degree College Gwadar**, aiming to introduce young women to Pakistan’s **emerging Blue Economy and the growing maritime sector**.

Speaking on the occasion, **Chairman Noor-ul-Haq Baloch** highlighted that there are **countless opportunities for youth, especially women, in the maritime industry**, and emphasized that **Gwadar Port plays a vital role in Pakistan’s economic development**. He encouraged the students to **explore the potential of the marine economy** and to utilize their skills to contribute to this dynamic and evolving field.

During the event, students were briefed on the **strategic and economic significance of Gwadar Port** and the **critical role of the maritime sector in global trade, sustainable development, and national growth**.

The participants were also taken on a **comprehensive tour of key facilities**, including the **Gwadar Port, China Business Center (CBC), Free Zone, and Desalination Plant**, where they gained **practical insights into port operations, logistics, and ongoing trade initiatives**.

The event aimed to **inspire and empower young women** to pursue careers in the maritime and logistics industries, contributing to the **strengthening of Pakistan’s Blue Economy**.
