CM Maryam Nawaz Inaugurates Multiple Development Projects in Rawalpindi, Including Nawaz Sharif Flyover

Rawalpindi:Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz inaugurated several development projects in Rawalpindi on Tuesday, including the **Nawaz Sharif Flyover**, praising the remarkable pace and quality of infrastructure work completed in the province within a year.
In her address at the inauguration ceremony, CM Maryam Nawaz lauded the Communication and Works (C\&W) Department, stating, *“The work done in one year is commendable. The public is satisfied with the ongoing road construction and repair projects across Punjab.”*
She highlighted that **over 12,000 kilometers of roads have been constructed** in record time, significantly improving connectivity. “The underpass project in Rawalpindi was completed in record time, and the travel time from Rawalpindi to Chakri has been reduced by one hour,” she added.
Maryam Nawaz also announced a **Rs 50 billion initiative** to address water shortages in **South Punjab**, emphasizing the government’s commitment to equitable development across the province.
The inauguration of the Nawaz Sharif Flyover and other key infrastructure projects marks a significant step in Punjab’s accelerated development agenda under the leadership of Maryam Nawaz.
