Opposition Leader Ahmed Khan Bachar Challenges Chief Election Commissioner
Lahore:Opposition leader and PTI leader Ahmed Khan Bachar has stated in the Punjab Assembly that if the Chief Election Commissioner does not resign, they will file a reference against him in the Supreme Judicial Council.
Speaking to the media outside Lahore High Court, Ahmed Khan Bachar said that Article 6 has been invoked previously in the country, and all these actions are based on political foundations.
The opposition leader of Punjab remarked that the People’s Party does not stand with the government on this decision, and Imran Khan cannot delay further. He emphasized that they will soon take to the streets against inflation.
He further added that if the Chief Election Commissioner does not resign, they will file a reference against him in the Supreme Judicial Council.
