Trump Expresses Greater Anger at Israel Over Ceasefire Violation

Washington: U.S. President Donald Trump has expressed his dissatisfaction with both Iran and Israel for violating a ceasefire he brokered, stating that he is particularly more upset with Israel.
Speaking to reporters before departing for the NATO summit, President Trump said that Israel launched attacks immediately after agreeing to the ceasefire. He emphasized that despite his mediation efforts, neither party fully respected the truce, which he described as a troubling sign for regional peace.
According to Reuters, Trump declared that Iran’s nuclear capabilities have been effectively dismantled, but he voiced disappointment over the continued hostilities. The U.S. President warned Israel against launching further attacks on Iran, issuing a stern message in response to Israel’s recent military actions.
The warning came shortly after Israel’s Ministry of Defense announced “intense strikes” in response to what it claimed was a breach of the ceasefire by Iran. President Trump stressed that any new military operation would be considered a serious violation and urged Israel to immediately recall its fighter pilots.
