CM Sarfraz Bugti Chairs Consultative Meeting on Balochistan Budget 2025-26
Focus on Development, Transparency, and Public Welfare; Inclusive Dialogue with Coalition Partners Continues

Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti chaired a key consultative meeting of the parliamentary committee on the upcoming fiscal year’s budget. Parliamentary leaders of coalition parties participated actively to ensure that budget proposals are practical and aligned with public needs.
The meeting involved detailed discussions on development projects, social sector improvements, and financial governance. CM Bugti emphasized that transparency, public welfare, and balance will be the guiding principles of the new budget.
“We are not presenting a mere collection of figures — this will be a roadmap for development,” said the Chief Minister. He added that financial discipline and austerity will be central components, and special initiatives will be introduced for youth, women, and vulnerable communities.
Bugti stressed that the budget is being designed through the consultation of all stakeholders to ensure its effectiveness and inclusiveness. “The goal of continued consultations is to benefit from political consensus and collective wisdom,” he stated.
He assured that priorities are being set in accordance with the fundamental needs of the people, with a strong focus on relief and development for the province.
