Vice Chancellor of University of Makran Meets CEO of KESCO to Address Power Issues

Professor Dr. Mumtaz Baloch, Vice Chancellor of the University of Makran, recently met with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of KESC, Engineer Yusuf Shah Khan, at his office to discuss ongoing electricity issues at the university. The discussion focused on power shortages, low voltage, and frequent tripping, which have been affecting various university operations.
During the meeting, Vice Chancellor Dr. Mumtaz Baloch provided a detailed briefing on the specific electricity problems faced during teaching hours, particularly with the use of multimedia in classrooms, computer labs, CCTV surveillance, internet services, water supply, and classroom cooling systems. He emphasized the importance of a consistent power supply to ensure smooth academic and administrative functions at the university.
In response, CEO KESCO Engineer Yusuf Shah Khan assured the Vice Chancellor of the commitment to provide stable electricity during both office and teaching hours. He pledged to issue immediate directives to resolve the issue and promised to make the university free of load-shedding in the near future, ensuring uninterrupted power supply for essential services.
Dr. Mumtaz Baloch expressed his gratitude to Engineer Yusuf Shah Khan for his cooperation and support, expressing hope that the power-related issues would soon be resolved, allowing the university to function smoothly without disruptions.
