“Fake Form 47 Government Has Failed,” Says PKMAP Leadership in Zhob District Meeting

Ziarat: Leaders of the Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PKMAP) have said that the so-called “Form 47 government” has completely failed to deliver relief to the people, as lawlessness, terrorism, kidnapping for ransom, inflation, and unemployment continue to rise across the region.

The remarks were made during a district committee meeting of PKMAP held at the party’s Tehsil office in Sanjawi, chaired by central general secretary Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal. The meeting reviewed past political and organizational activities and approved key decisions aimed at making the party more active and effective in addressing public issues.

The meeting was attended by provincial deputy secretary Sardar Habib-ur-Rehman Domar, district general secretary Abdul Latif Domar, and a large number of district committee and executive members.

Participants expressed deep concern over worsening security and governance conditions in Ziarat and Sanjawi, stating that incidents of violence and crime have increased significantly, while authorities have failed to establish control over the situation.

They referred to recent violent incidents in Sharag and Mangi areas, including killings during road blockades, burning of coal-loaded trucks, and kidnapping cases, saying such events raise serious questions about the performance of state institutions.

The leaders also criticized what they termed as unjustified cases registered against party leaders after they raised their voice against these incidents, calling it an attempt to suppress political dissent.

The meeting further highlighted the severe difficulties faced by farmers in Ziarat, saying that climate change has already damaged agriculture, while the imposition of agricultural taxes has further worsened their condition. They demanded immediate withdrawal of such taxes and provision of subsidies, fertilizers, and agricultural support.

Severe criticism was also directed at prolonged and unscheduled electricity load-shedding, with participants stating that poor performance by the electricity department has made daily life extremely difficult. They added that delays in repairing or replacing transformers have left many areas without electricity for weeks and months.

The meeting also expressed concern over the poor performance of the health and education departments, stating that citizens are being deprived of basic services.

The party warned that if these issues are not resolved immediately, PKMAP will launch a strong protest movement along with the public, for which the government will be responsible.
