Pakistan Rich in Natural Resources, Can Achieve Prosperity Through Unity: Acting Senate Chairman Syed Al Khan

Quetta/Islamabad (Daily Qudrat Quetta): Acting Senate Chairman Syed Al Khan emphasized that Pakistan is endowed with vast natural resources, minerals, tourism potential, favorable climate, and a talented workforce, giving the country the full capacity to achieve development, prosperity, and a position among the world’s developed nations.
Addressing various delegations at the Parliament House, he urged patriotic citizens—including government officials, bureaucrats, lawyers, doctors, teachers, students, and civil society representatives—to work together in a coordinated manner to utilize the country’s resources effectively and set Pakistan firmly on the path of progress.
Syed Al Khan highlighted Pakistan’s unique geographical importance, excellent climate, and expertise in sectors such as IT, energy, sports, medical equipment, and defense manufacturing, noting that these capabilities are comparable to only a few countries worldwide. He underlined that the country’s defense system ranks among the best globally, serving as a model for other nations.
The Acting Chairman further stated that Pakistan’s political and military leadership has consistently demonstrated prudent and effective strategies even in challenging or wartime situations. He reaffirmed that Pakistan remains a peace-loving nation committed to regional and global stability, actively engaging in diplomacy, conferences, dialogues, and negotiations to promote peace internationally.
Calling upon overseas Pakistanis, Syed Al Khan urged them to play a constructive role in the country’s development and prosperity. He stressed that unity and coordinated efforts can accelerate Pakistan’s growth, creating broad employment opportunities, enhancing investment and trade, and improving the standard of living for citizens.
He also appealed to political workers to rise above partisan interests and support the government in leveraging Pakistan’s natural resources and minerals to strengthen the nation economically and socially, setting an example for the international community.
