TikToker Sana Yousaf Murdered in Islamabad; Victim’s Father Appeals for Justice

Islamabad:A tragic murder has rocked the capital as TikToker Sana Yousaf was brutally killed in Islamabad’s G-13 sector. The accused, 22-year-old Umar Hayat, known on social media as “Kaka” and hailing from Faisalabad, allegedly committed the murder on June 2 after repeated rejections of his friendship advances by Sana.
Following the incident, a murder case was registered on the complaint of Sana Yousaf’s mother. Islamabad Police acted swiftly and arrested the accused. The incident has drawn widespread attention, prompting a video statement from the victim’s father, who is a government employee.
In his emotional appeal, Sana’s father urged the government to investigate the case thoroughly and deliver justice. “I am a government servant. I have no enmity or dispute with anyone. I request my government to investigate whoever is involved in this incident and ensure I get justice,” he said in the video.
He further emphasized that the state has a responsibility to ensure the accused is brought to justice. “My plea to the government is simple: reach the culprit and deliver justice,” he concluded.
The incident has sparked calls for stricter action against gender-based violence and better safety measures for social media personalities in Pakistan.
