Pakistan Secures T20I Series Win Over Bangladesh; Haris Rauf Praises Modern Batting and Calls for Rotation Policy

Lahore:After Pakistan clinched a **57-run victory** over Bangladesh in the **second T20I**, fast bowler **Haris Rauf** lauded the team’s aggressive batting approach and emphasized the need for a **bowling rotation policy** going forward.

Pakistan scored an impressive **201/6** while restricting Bangladesh to **144 all out**, thus taking an unassailable **2-0 lead** in the three-match T20I series.

### Haris Rauf’s Post-Match Remarks:

Speaking after the match, Rauf stated:

> **”Our batters are playing modern-day cricket. In T20s, 200-plus totals have become a norm. As bowlers, we try our best to restrict the runs.”**

### On Bowling Partnerships:

Rauf discussed team dynamics and bowling partnerships:

> **”We treat whoever is available as our partner. I’ve played a lot with Shaheen and Naseem. Now I’m getting a chance to bowl alongside Hasan Ali and learning from him too.”**

He added that the team is being guided with situation-specific strategies:

> **”We’re focusing on improving the small things, and those details often make the difference.”**

### Rotation Policy & Workload Management:

Highlighting the strain on bowlers due to limited bench strength, Rauf advocated for a **rotation policy**:

> **”Top bowlers around the world are rotated. We’ve had to play continuously due to lack of bench strength. In the future, a rotation policy should be implemented.”**

### Impact of Changing Management:

Rauf also commented on the effects of frequent changes in the team’s leadership and coaching staff:

> **”Frequent changes in management, coaching, and captaincy disturb the team environment, which affects results. A long-term plan is needed, not a six-month strategy.”**

He expressed hope under the current setup:

> **”Now there’s a new management, and Salman Ali Agha is providing good support. We believe results will improve.”**

Pakistan’s dominant performance in the series and Haris Rauf’s sharp insights reflect a team keen on building consistency and adapting to the evolving demands of modern T20 cricket.
