Experts Weigh in on Who Would Win: 100 Humans vs. One Gorilla

London:Experts have attempted to answer the age-old and popular question: Who would win in a fight—100 unarmed humans or a single gorilla? Dr. Nicholas Newton-Fisher, a behavior expert from the University of Kent who specializes in animal behavior, shared his insights on the hypothetical scenario.

According to a report by *Daily Star*, Dr. Fisher explained that under normal circumstances, gorillas are peaceful creatures and would typically avoid confrontations with crowds of people. However, in an imagined battle where 100 unarmed humans face off against a large male gorilla, two possible outcomes could occur:

**1. Humans’ Victory:**
With sheer numbers, the humans could potentially win, but only at the cost of significant casualties. Many attackers would likely be killed or severely injured in the process. However, the natural instinct for self-preservation in humans would complicate the collective attack, as people would hesitate to confront the gorilla in such close quarters.

**2. Gorilla’s Victory:**
On the other hand, the gorilla, with its extraordinary strength, large teeth, and psychological dominance, could easily overpower the humans. Only a few humans would be able to reach the gorilla at a time, and the fear and terror it instills in the others would likely cause them to retreat. The gorilla’s psychological advantage and physical prowess would likely be decisive.

Dr. Fisher believes the most realistic outcome would be that the gorilla would attempt to flee rather than fight. Any human who ventured too close would likely be killed. Meanwhile, the humans, too terrified or focused on self-preservation, might not have the courage to confront the gorilla directly and would rely on one another to manage the situation.

This thought-provoking analysis challenges the assumptions many might have about a fight between humans and one of the strongest creatures on Earth.
