CM Balochistan Sarfaraz Bugti Issues Strong Warning to Protesters and Announces Health Sector Reforms

Quetta – Chief Minister of Balochistan, Sarfaraz Bugti, has issued a stern warning to those organizing protests and sit-ins in the province, making it clear that public interests will not be compromised. The statement came during a meeting chaired by him on health sector reforms.

In the meeting, CM Bugti announced the decision to introduce an institutional reforms act aimed at improving the health sector in Balochistan. He emphasized the importance of efficient use of public resources, stating that the annual budget allocation for the health department in Balochistan exceeds 80 billion rupees. He pointed out that with such a significant amount, every citizen of Balochistan could receive treatment at the most expensive private hospitals.

Addressing those planning strikes and protests, the Chief Minister expressed his firm stance, saying, “If anyone wants to go on strike or hold a sit-in, they are welcome to do so, but there will be no compromise on public welfare.” His statement reflected a no-nonsense approach toward maintaining order and ensuring that the focus remains on the betterment of public services.

This message underlines the government’s commitment to both improving healthcare in the province and dealing firmly with any disruptions to public services.
