Major Theft in Quetta: Valuables Worth Over Rs50 Million Stolen from Four Houses of Same Family

Quetta: A shocking and large-scale theft incident has been reported in the Pashtoonabad area of Quetta, where unidentified thieves broke into four houses belonging to the same family and stole valuables worth over Rs50 million.

According to police, the stolen items include approximately 52 kilograms of silver, 39 tolas of gold, and Rs12 million in cash. The case has been registered at Pashtoonabad police station on the complaint of Nazeer Ahmed, and an investigation is currently underway.

Details reveal that the affected family is involved in the jewelry business in Liaquat Bazaar. At the time of the incident, six households of the family had gone out to attend a cousin’s wedding, leaving their homes unattended.

Nazeer Ahmed reported that his house alone lost 50 kilograms of silver blocks, Rs6 million in cash, and 200 grams of gold. Meanwhile, the homes of his cousins—Shabbir Ahmed, Khan Muhammad, and Zubair—were also looted, with cash, gold, silver, and even a licensed pistol stolen.

The family further stated that the suspects took away the CCTV DVR, but footage from other cameras revealed that three افراد arrived on motorcycles and began the चोरी operation just 17 minutes after the residents had left.

Police officials said evidence is being collected and expressed confidence that the suspects will be arrested soon.
