Prime Minister Assures Sindh CM of Swift Construction of Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway

Islamabad: In a recent development concerning the ongoing dispute between the Sindh province and the federal government over the Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway project, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has written a letter to Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, assuring him of the swift construction of the much-awaited motorway.
According to Express News, in his letter, Prime Minister Sharif emphasized that he is personally invested in the completion of the Hyderabad Motorway and expressed his interest in having it included in the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) as soon as possible. He further assured the Chief Minister that the motorway project will be expedited.
The Prime Minister mentioned that although the project was initially intended to be developed under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model, it did not materialize as planned. However, he acknowledged Sindh’s concerns regarding the project and assured that the motorway’s construction would commence without further delay.
The assurance marks a significant step in addressing the concerns of the Sindh government and advancing the crucial infrastructure project.
