Over 1,000 Foreign Nationals Deported from Khyber District’s Landi Kotal Transit Camp

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Over 1,000 foreign nationals were deported from Pakistan on Sunday, as part of the ongoing crackdown on illegal immigration in the country. The deportees were moved from the Landi Kotal Transit Camp in Khyber district to the Torkham border for repatriation.
According to immigration sources, a total of 1,002 foreign nationals, including 580 illegal residents and 422 ACC cardholders, were transferred from various cities of Pakistan to the camp for processing. After the necessary formalities, they were deported through the Torkham border.
Since April 1, a total of 7,702 individuals from 1,151 foreign families have been deported, comprising 3,081 men, 1,981 women, and 2,640 children. Additionally, between September 17, 2023, and March 31, 2025, nearly 70,494 Afghan families, totaling 469,159 individuals, have returned to Afghanistan.
The government continues its efforts to manage illegal immigration and ensure national security by repatriating foreign nationals residing in Pakistan without proper documentation.
