President Trump Delivers First Address to Congress, Announces Bold Plans for America

In his first address to Congress after assuming the presidency, Donald Trump declared that America is “back in the game” and asserted that the administration had accomplished more in a month than others did in four years.

Trump said, “We’ve just started, and America is back on its first momentum. We are moving forward better than before, and the golden age of America has begun.”

During his speech, Democratic Congressman Al Green protested against Trump, criticizing his policies. As a result, Green was expelled from Congress for his actions.

Trump continued his speech by highlighting the measures taken against illegal immigrants, stating that the Democrats would not stand by him, which he found unacceptable. He emphasized that under his leadership, America would be “invincible.”

The President invited the Democrats to work together to make America great again and promised historical actions to boost mineral production. He also pointed out that economic recovery remains a priority for his administration.

Trump criticized the previous administration for leaving behind a legacy of economic devastation and rising inflation, specifically calling out President Biden for causing the price of eggs to skyrocket beyond the public’s purchasing power.

Regarding crime, Trump mentioned that significant progress had been made in reducing it, although he lamented that Democrats were not happy with these efforts. He also accused the previous administration of wasting taxpayer money on aid programs.

Trump laid out plans to reduce interest rates, balance the budget, and implement a $5 million gold card program, which he claimed would be more valuable than the green card. The idea is to reduce national debt through investments from those who acquire these cards.

On the issue of bureaucracy, Trump stated that he would remove obstacles to change, mentioning that he had already signed nearly 100 executive orders in just six weeks. He also vowed to use any money saved from aid programs to reduce inflation.

Trump also announced a significant change in trade policies, stating that starting from April 2, any country imposing taxes on U.S. goods would face retaliatory tariffs. He made it clear that America would no longer subsidize countries like Canada, and that tariffs would apply if products are not produced within the U.S.

The President also discussed the impact of his policies on farmers, stating that they would benefit greatly from the new trade strategy. He emphasized that no one would be able to compete with America’s economic strength.

Trump concluded by mentioning that 21 million immigrants had entered the U.S. in the past four years, and he promised to continue his crackdown on illegal immigration, the toughest in U.S. history. He also called on Canada and Mexico to take action to prevent the smuggling of drugs into the U.S.
