Karachi Faces Gas Supply Disruptions During Iftar Time on First Day of Ramadan

Ahead of Ramadan, Sui Southern Gas Company had announced specific gas supply timings for Karachi, ensuring that gas would be available during Sehri and Iftar hours. However, on the first day of Ramadan, gas supply was disrupted in several parts of Karachi precisely when preparations for Iftar were underway.

According to media reports, areas such as Liaquatabad B Area, Liaquatabad 4, Federal Capital Area, and North Nazimabad experienced gas outages. Additionally, areas in Nazimabad, PIB Colony, and various blocks in Gulshan-e-Iqbal also reported interruptions in gas supply.

In response, a spokesperson for Sui Southern Gas Company stated that 95% of the areas were receiving gas, and only 5% of areas had reported issues.
