Balochistan Government Rejects Misleading Statements on Province’s Situation

Quetta: The spokesperson for the Balochistan government, Shahid Rind, strongly rejected the recent inflammatory and misleading statements made by certain politicians regarding the situation in Balochistan. Rind specifically responded to comments made by opposition leader Umar Ayub, stating that his remarks on Balochistan were inaccurate and based on false narratives aimed at misleading the public.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, Rind emphasized that statements regarding the province’s supposed quest for freedom were mere rumors and propaganda. He asserted that Balochistan is, and will remain, a part of Pakistan. He further stated that elements attempting to hinder the province’s prosperity and stability, along with their facilitators, would never succeed in their malicious objectives.
Rind also accused those stirring unrest in Balochistan of promoting foreign agendas. He criticized Umar Ayub and his party for their misguided policies, which, according to Rind, had allowed terrorists to regain a foothold in both Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
He urged Umar Ayub to visit Quetta as a responsible opposition leader and engage in dialogue with the government based on evidence, rather than making baseless claims from Islamabad. Rind emphasized that a responsible political leader or opposition party should engage in constructive discussions, rather than creating fabricated narratives on social media.
Rind concluded by asserting that Balochistan and Pakistan are inseparable, and no one should harbor illusions about their unity.
