Prime Minister’s Youth Program Chairman Rana Mashhood Stresses on Afghan Youth Talent and Cooperation

Quetta:The Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program, Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, emphasized that Afghan youth possess immense talent and their future, along with that of both Afghanistan and Pakistan, is interconnected. He highlighted that Pakistan has always cooperated in helping Afghan refugees stand on their own feet and wants these Afghan children to learn skills here and contribute to the development and prosperity of their country.

He made these remarks while addressing a ceremony organized by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), marking the completion of various skill courses, including handicrafts, by Afghan refugees. The event was attended by Professor Dr. Mughees Aslam, Dean and Campus Director of NUST Balochistan, Nader Gul Barez, students, and civil society members.

Rana Mashhood acknowledged the zeal and determination of the Afghan children, stating that they are eager to make a mark in the world through their hard work and talents. He said that after acquiring skills in Pakistan, these youth would return to Afghanistan and contribute to improving their society by sharing their knowledge and skills.

He reassured the Afghan youth, saying that Pakistan stands with them and that they could expand their businesses by utilizing the skills they have learned. He also expressed his confidence that the future of both Pakistan and Afghanistan lies in the hands of these children, who, through their efforts, will lead their countries toward prosperity.

Rana Mashhood also congratulated NUST University, the United Nations, and its affiliated organizations for working towards this noble cause. He expressed that these young individuals would eventually lead their country and play an important role in fostering bilateral progress between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

Earlier, Rana Mashhood visited stalls featuring hand-embroidered crafts made by Afghan children and engaged in conversations with them about their work and skills. As a gesture of encouragement, the chief guest distributed checks among the Afghan youth.
