“Sahifa Jabar Khatak Reveals the Real Earnings in Showbiz: Struggles to Make Ends Meet”

Islamabad: Pakistani actress and model Sahifa Jabar Khatak recently opened up about the financial realities of working in the Pakistani showbiz industry, revealing that acting alone does not generate enough income to easily manage household expenses.
In a recent appearance on a YouTube talk show, Sahifa discussed her career, personal life, and the challenges faced by artists in the entertainment industry. When asked about her earnings, the actress explained that while acting does provide a living, it is not sufficient to cover all her expenses. She mentioned that if a drama series runs for 4 to 6 months, the payments are usually made in installments, making it difficult to manage finances.
Sahifa shared that if she were to rely solely on drama projects, it would be tough for her to make ends meet. To sustain herself, she needs to work on multiple projects each year, ideally four, and participate in daily shoots. Additionally, she supplements her income through social media and online platforms.
She also revealed that many artists diversify their income by starting their own businesses, becoming producers, or launching fashion brands. This, according to her, is why many stars turn to alternative sources of revenue while continuing their work in the entertainment industry.
