Salim Khan Highlights Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) Teaching on Workers’ Rights in Viral Interview

Mumbai: A past interview of renowned Indian screenwriter Salim Khan has resurfaced on social media, drawing attention for his remarks on workers’ rights based on Islamic teachings.
In the interview, Salim Khan referenced a saying of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), emphasizing that a laborer should be paid their wages before their sweat dries. He stated that if society simply adheres to this principle, economic injustice could be significantly reduced.
According to him, this teaching of Islam remains highly relevant in today’s world, where ensuring timely and fair compensation for workers is a pressing issue.
