CM Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur Denies Claim of Leaving Bushra Bibi Alone During Islamabad Protest

Dera Ismail Khan:Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has rejected the claim made by Bushra Bibi, the wife of PTI chairman Imran Khan, that she was left alone during the Islamabad protest on November 26. Speaking to the media in Dera Ismail Khan, Gandapur stated that he was with Bushra Bibi until the last moment of the protest and if she is making allegations about others, it should be directed towards her.

This comes after Bushra Bibi, in a statement in Charsadda on the previous day, claimed that she was abandoned at D-Chowk and emphasized that she was not someone who would run away. She further stated, “I am not the kind of woman who would run away.”

On November 26, during PTI’s protest in Islamabad, law enforcement agencies, including police and Rangers, launched an operation to disperse the protesters. During this operation, both Ali Amin Gandapur and Bushra Bibi fled Islamabad as the crowd was dispersed, and several participants were arrested by the police. The two then made their way to Mansehra, where the Chief Minister held a press conference the following day.

Ali Amin Gandapur’s statement directly contradicts Bushra Bibi’s claim of being left behind, and it appears to be a continuation of the political tensions surrounding the protest.
