Last Day to Submit Applications for Hajj Under Government Scheme
Islamabad: Today is the last day to submit applications for Hajj under the Government Scheme, with over 54,000 applications already received from across the country.
The government has allocated a quota of 89,605 pilgrims for this year’s Hajj. Overseas Pakistanis can also ensure their participation in the scheme by sending sponsorships.
According to the spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs, it is expected that the regular quota will be fully filled today. The number of applications has increased compared to previous years due to the installment-based payment system for the regular Hajj scheme.
Once the applications are completed, the flight schedule for Hajj will be finalized. Accommodation in Madinah will be arranged, and the procurement of housing, food, transport, and other services in Saudi Arabia will be completed.
The lucky draw for the government Hajj scheme will take place on December 6.
