Balochistan Government to Send Thousands of Unemployed Youth Abroad for Employment Opportunities

Quetta: The Balochistan government has initiated steps to send 30,000 skilled and talented young individuals abroad to provide them with employment opportunities. Arrangements have already been made with Germany, Romania, and Saudi Arabia for this purpose.
In a major move to address youth unemployment, the provincial government, through the Balochistan Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (BTEVTA), has begun working on the project. The first phase of the initiative has already seen 6,000 applications from young candidates, and the screening process is underway.
Selected individuals will be sent to Saudi Arabia and Romania for jobs in the construction sector, while those chosen for Germany will find employment in the fields of healthcare and information technology (IT).
This initiative is expected to not only provide significant employment opportunities for Balochistan’s youth but also contribute to reducing the province’s unemployment rate. With skilled workers gaining experience abroad, the overall economic outlook for the region is expected to improve, bringing greater prosperity.
