A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed at the Taxila police station against the founding leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, along with other senior party members, including Umar Amin Gandapur, Salar Khan Kakakd, and Shahid Khatak, in connection with the killing of police constable Mubashir Hassan during protests near Hakeela Interchange.
The FIR includes charges under the Anti-Terrorism Act, among 14 different sections. During the chaos, the attackers abducted Constable Mubashir Hassan in an injured state.
The FIR also states that three other policemen, Constables Adnan, Rais, and Naeem, were injured during the attack. Authorities later learned that the assailants abandoned the severely wounded Constable Hassan under the Hakeela bridge before fleeing the scene.
