Government Assures Immediate Resolution of Concerns, Says Bilawal Bhutto Zardari

Islamabad: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has said that the government has assured the immediate resolution of the party’s concerns.

In a statement, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that a meeting of the PPP’s joint parliamentary party was held, during which the federal budget, Gilgit-Baltistan elections, and the situation in Kashmir were discussed.

He noted that the initial decision of the meeting was not to participate in the budget session until the party’s concerns were addressed.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari further stated that Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi assured that all concerns would be resolved without delay.

He added that both ministers also requested the PPP to attend the budget session. He said that teams from both sides will meet later in the day to resolve the outstanding issues and challenges through consultation.
