Karachi: The stock market reached a significant milestone of 99,000 points at the start of trading today. After a negative opening, the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) saw a strong recovery, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index rising by 1,400 points, reaching 99,200 points.
Investors remain cautious due to concerns over the ongoing lockdown and the political situation. The market had closed the previous day at 97,798 points.
