The speakers, extending heartfelt congratulations to party workers and all the people of Afghania Kharotabad on the successful holding of the regional conference, said that the party’s organisational conferences play an important role in further strengthening national political consciousness, organisational stability and collective struggle. They expressed the resolve that the Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party will continue its struggle for the national unity of the proud Pashtun nation, national self-determination, the establishment of Pashtunistan, securing the status of Pashto as the national and official language of the Pashtun nation, and achieving national authority and control over its natural resources.
The speakers said that the elders and martyrs of the Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party have made great sacrifices for the achievement of Pashtun national rights, national identity and national self-determination. In particular, the ideas, political thought and national struggle of national martyr Uthman Khan Kakar and the party’s great leader Abdul Rahim Khan Mandokhail are a guiding light for the party. The party continues its national democratic struggle in the light of these very principles and ideas. They expressed the hope that the newly elected office-bearers and party workers will play a full role in making the organisation more active and strong, highlighting public problems and taking forward the struggle for national rights.
The speakers, expressing deep concern over the severe shortage of gas, the non-availability of electricity and long load-shedding in Afghania Kharotabad and its surroundings, said that gas supply in the area is as good as non-existent, while unannounced and prolonged electricity load-shedding has made people’s lives miserable. Due to inflation, unemployment and the non-availability of basic facilities, ordinary citizens are suffering extreme difficulties.
They demanded that the relevant authorities ensure uninterrupted supply of gas and electricity to the people of Afghania Kharotabad and surrounding areas and take immediate steps for the provision of basic civic facilities. The speakers made clear that against continuous government negligence in resolving public problems, the Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party will use its organisational strength to organise the people and, if needed, further expand its protest movement.
