Stop Vindictive Actions Against Grand Alliance, Accept Legitimate Demands: Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri

**Quetta (Qudrat Daily):** Central Secretary General of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Pakistan and Member of the National Assembly **Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri**, along with Central Finance Secretary **Maulana Salahuddin Ayubi**, Patron-in-Chief of JUI Balochistan and former Provincial Minister **Sheikh-ul-Hadith Maulana Hafiz Hussain Ahmed Shurodi**, and **Sheikh-ul-Hadith Maulana Hafiz Muhammad Yousaf**, have strongly condemned the alleged torture, arrests, and raids on the homes of leaders and employees of the **Grand Alliance**.

In a joint statement, the JUI leaders urged the **Balochistan government to exercise restraint**, immediately release the detained employees, and resolve the issues through **dialogue and mutual understanding**. They termed the suspension of dozens of officers and politically motivated retaliatory actions as **unacceptable**, stating that by rejecting the recommendations of its own committee, the government has exposed its **non-serious and anti-public policies**.

The leaders said that the use of force to suppress **peaceful political struggle** is unacceptable in any democratic system. They warned that coercion, intimidation, and arrests cannot silence public demands nor improve the situation; instead, such actions would further widen the gap between the state and the people, for which the current rulers would bear full responsibility.

They emphasized that if the **Balochistan government is truly serious about resolving the issues**, it must immediately initiate **meaningful and sincere negotiations** with the employees of the Grand Alliance and accept all **legitimate and constitutional demands**. The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam made it clear that it will continue to raise its voice against vindictive actions at **every available forum**.
