Opposition Members Clash in Balochistan Assembly Over Resolution on Abolishing Sardari System; Uproar in House
I Will Amend the Resolution and Present It Again: Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch
QUETTA (Daily Qudrat): During a session of the Balochistan Assembly, differences surfaced among opposition members over the matter of a resolution concerning the abolition of the Sardari system, while an uproar also broke out in the House during Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch’s speech.
During the session, Opposition Leader Mir Younus Zehri took the position that when a resolution has already been disposed of, it is not appropriate to discuss the matter again.
On this occasion, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch, expressing his views in the House, said that the Speaker of the Balochistan Assembly had promised that his resolution against the Sardari system would be included in the agenda. He said the Speaker fulfilled his promise and the resolution was included in the agenda.
Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch said that he would amend the resolution and present it again. During his speech, an uproar broke out in the House, and differences among opposition members over the matter of abolishing the Sardari system became prominent.
