Rulers Imposed on Balochistan Are Not Even Capable of Running a Neighbourhood Corner Store: JUI
Government Incompetence Has Pushed the Province into a Mire of Food Shortage, Inflation, and Mismanagement; People Cannot Be Placated with Showy Announcements — Maulana Abdul Rahman Rafiq

QUETTA (Daily Qudrat Quetta) — Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Quetta District Maulana Abdul Rahman Rafiq, Secretary General Haji Ainullah Shams, Senior Deputy Ameer Maulana Khurshid Ahmad, Deputy Secretary General Haji Bashir Ahmad Kakar, Haji Rahmatullah Kakar, Hafiz Shabbir Ahmad Madani, Syed Haji Abdul Wahid Agha, Hafiz Masood Ahmad, Haji Muhammad Qasim Khalji, Haji Wali Muhammad Barech, Safiullah Mengal, and Shah Zahid Mushwani have said that the government clique imposed on Balochistan has badly failed in running the administrative affairs of the province. Looking at their performance, it feels as though they do not even possess the ability to run a neighbourhood corner store. The incompetence, mismanagement, and anti-people policies of the rulers have pushed the province into a mire of food shortage, inflation, and serious administrative crises. They said that the people of Balochistan, which is rich in resources, are yearning for the basic necessities of life, while the ruthless clique of rulers is busy in luxury and extravagance on the hard-earned money of the people. There is a clear contradiction between the rulers’ words and their deeds; lofty claims of public service are made, but in practice the people have been left helpless. They said that the people of Balochistan cannot be placated any further with hollow slogans, showy measures, and false reassurances. Instead of escaping its responsibilities, the government should take immediate and effective measures to end food shortage, inflation, unrest, and administrative breakdown.
