Security Forces Complete Clearance Operation in Ziarat After Deadly Terrorist Attack
A joint clearance operation against terrorists identified by the provincial government as *Fitna al-Khawarij* has been completed in Ziarat district following a deadly attack that claimed the lives of nine Balochistan Police personnel.
Balochistan Chief Minister’s Adviser **Shahid Rind** said the operation was carried out successfully by the **Frontier Corps (FC)**, **Balochistan Police**, the **Counter Terrorism Department (CTD)**, the **Special Operations Wing (SOW)**, and the **Anti-Terrorist Force (ATF)**.
According to Rind, the nine martyred officers include the SHOs of Mangi and Kawas police stations, ATF In-charge Head Constable Saifullah, and several other police personnel.
He added that DSP Ghulam Sarwar and eight police personnel safely reached Kach Police Station after navigating difficult mountainous terrain, while Constable Rizwan was also rescued safely.
The bodies of the martyred officers are being shifted to DHQ Hospital Ziarat for legal formalities and post-mortem examinations.
The Balochistan government paid tribute to the fallen personnel, reaffirming its commitment to continue counterterrorism operations until terrorism is eradicated.
