‘My Generations Will Make You Remember the Response’: Jawad Ahmad Warns PTI Supporters Over Family Remarks
LAHORE: Renowned Pakistani singer and Barabri Party Pakistan chairman Jawad Ahmad has issued a stern warning to those allegedly spreading false information about his family on social media, saying he will respond strongly if any Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporter makes misleading remarks about his relatives.
According to a screenshot attributed to a post from Jawad Ahmad’s verified Facebook account, the singer said that anyone from PTI who spread false claims about his family would face a response that they and their future generations would remember.
Explaining his family background, Jawad Ahmad said both his parents were professors who taught political science at colleges in Lahore. He stated that his father taught at Government College Lahore, while his mother was a professor at Lahore College for Women.
He said his interest in politics stemmed from his family environment, where political issues and discussions had been a regular part of life.
Jawad Ahmad Issues Strong Message to PTI Supporters
Addressing PTI supporters, the singer warned against spreading false statements about his family, expressing anger over what he described as attempts to drag his relatives into political disputes.
His remarks reflect his frustration with alleged personal attacks on social media amid his ongoing political differences with PTI and its leadership.

The post also reportedly featured an image comparing Jawad Ahmad with former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan.
The image portrayed Jawad Ahmad as someone who leads a simple life, earns through his own efforts and maintains friendships with ordinary people. It also made various claims about Imran Khan’s residence, financial standing and lifestyle.
However, the individual claims presented in the image have not been independently verified and should not be treated as established facts.
Jawad Ahmad’s Previous Criticism of Imran Khan
Jawad Ahmad is among the Pakistani entertainers who entered politics. As chairman of Barabri Party Pakistan, he has advocated social equality, education and the rights of ordinary citizens.
In a July 2018 interview with Daily Times, he emphasised the need for a uniform education system and an end to class-based divisions in society.
He has also criticised Imran Khan and PTI’s political approach on several occasions. In August 2022, Geo News reported his criticism of the former prime minister’s political positions.
In April 2026, a report concerning a television programme also quoted Jawad Ahmad as alleging that PTI’s social media supporters had repeatedly targeted him.
His latest remarks have once again brought his longstanding political differences with PTI supporters into the spotlight, particularly over the use of social media in political disputes.
